Hi, I’m Emma, the founder of Remotely Connected.
I’ve worked in a role that for years we absolutely had to do from the office. Then in Spring 2020 COVID-19 hit and, like so many of us, my professional life was turned on its head. Overnight we went from a very office-focused business to being run from six different locations without any physical cohesion.
So how do we network from home?
It struck me that while for many of us remote working was new, for many people (for example many freelancers) working remotely is their normal. There are so many people who feel disconnected without a physical office. I wanted to create a space that allows us all to feel a sense of community irrespective of our location; somewhere that allows us to be Remotely Connected.
